Since 2023, the COIL Faculty Fellows Program-Africa has been supporting the design and implementation of COIL projects between MSU and African universities.
The main goals of this initiative are listed below:
Modest honoraria are given to fellows to support professional and project development, and the program also provides a blend of training workshops, presentations, and a fellows community of practice. Additionally, to further support fellows' learning and promote sustainable institutional internationalization efforts, fellows are in close contact with MSU's COIL Faculty Learning Community and with appointed COIL Campus Coordinators. After the COIL projects are implemented, the program offers a culminating symposium as an opportunity for fellows to share insights and showcase their work.
